Controversial Smackdown Live announcer John Bradshaw Layfield announced that he would no longer be calling matches for the blue brand over the weekend. Though many assumed the reason for this might have something to do with the recent bullying allegations leveled at him, apparently that's not the case (you can read his statement in full below).

At any rate, WWE has now revealed who will take over from on Smackdown Live commentary, and it should make fans very happy indeed.

Current RAW announcer Corey Graves will step in, and he'll be replaced on 205 Live and Main Event by NXT commentator Nigel McGuinness.

Sounds like a win/win to us, but what do you guys think? Sound off in the usual place.
