Jeff Hardy qualifies for WWE World Cup Tournament at Crown Jewel after defeating Samoa Joe in a very awkward fashion on SmackDown Live

Jeff Hardy returned to action on tonight's episode of Smackdown to gain a spot in the WWE World Cup Tournament to be held at Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Hardy defeated Samoa Joe in their first ever WWE match following a referee stoppage due to Joe's leg injury from Super Show-Down. The inclusion of Hardy makes sense as these Saudi Arabian super shows really like to have the star power of days gone by and Jeff Hardy is just bad. Hardy joins a duo of legends in John Cena and Kurt Angle. Neither man does Hardy have much history within the WWE so these matches could be very spectacular to watch. This could be a very cool way for Jeff Hardy to have a couple of more dream matches before he have to hang it up for good.
