Jeff Hardy Returns On FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN And Sees Off An Attack From Sheamus

Jeff Hardy made his long-awaited return on SmackDown last night, and, as expected, Sheamus had plenty to say about it.

The Celtic Warrior has been running Hardy down for weeks now, and sized the opportunity to tell The Charismatic Enigma exactly what he thought of him. Sheamus sees Jeff as a screw up, and believes it's only a matter of time before he's suspended again or fired from the company altogether. Hardy responded by... calling him "fella."

The Irishman then made his way to the ring, but Jeff managed to fend him off with a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb.

This was another awkward segment involving Jeff Hardy attempting to cut a promo and failing miserably. We don't want to come across too harsh here, but how is it possible that a guy can be in the pro-wrestling business for so many years and still come across so forced and unnatural on the mic? Just turn him heel and give him a mouthpiece already!

Though the match hasn't been made official, there's a good chance these guys will square off at Money in the Bank tomorrow night.
