Jeff Hardy Returns To In-Ring Action Next Week On SMACKDOWN; Will Most Likely Face Sheamus

After weeks of buildup, it's been announced that Jeff Hardy will officially make his long-awaited return on next week's episode of SmackDown, and it looks like a very angry Sheamus will be waiting for him.

WWE has been airing a career retrospective of Jeff Hardy over the past four weeks, and the Charismatic Enigma will finally make his return during next week's episode of SmackDown.

It's been pretty obvious that Sheamus has been lined up as Hardy's first opponent, as The Celtic Warrior has been very vocal in his disdain for the former WWE Champion after every recent squash match. Last night, he made it very clear that he'd be waiting for Jeff when he decimated his latest victim with a Brogue Kick.

We're not sure if these two will actually have a match next week (a blindside attack from Sheamus seems more likely), but they are certain to face-off fairly soon one way or the other, possibly at Money in the Bank.

It'll be interesting to see who wins that encounter. As unlikely as it'd be for Hardy to lose his first match back, Sheamus has been as dominant as we've ever seen him, and there are rumors that he will have one last major push with the company.
