Last night, Jeff Hardy qualified for the WWE World Cup Tournament at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 2. The former United States champion took advantage of Samoa Joe’s leg injury and the referee had to eventually call off the match due to Joe being unable to fight no longer.

The announcers talked about how the “Charismatic Enigma” changed after his Hell in a Cell match against Randy Orton and in the video below, Jeff Hardy confirms that he’s a different man since being in the devil’s playground:

"You know what, when they say Hell In a Cell changes people - it truly does. I'm a primetime example of that," Hardy said. "Tonight something happened with me that never happens, it rarely happens. I saw something wrong with Joe and I took advantage of it. I capitalized when he was injured and in a way, it felt good. I feel like I did the right thing."
