Jey Uso said "I Quit" after an emotionally draining Hell in a Cell match against Roman Reigns last Sunday, and per the stipulation, that means he must now acknowledge his cousin as the Tribal Chief and basically "fall in line" as one of his lackeys.
Jey resisted at the start of the night, but by the time the show went off the air, he'd proven his loyalty to The Big Dog by annihilating Daniel Bryan after their Survivor Series qualifier match.
Uso defeated the Leader of the YES! Movement - clean in the middle, we might add - after a terrific encounter by delivering a superkick/Uso Splash combo. But that wasn't enough for Reigns, who wordlessly made it clear that he wanted Jey to inflict a lot more damage. Uce did just that, putting Bryan through the announce desk with another splash, and dragging him off the stretcher to continue the brutal beat-down even after cameras stopped officially rolling.
There's been a lot of speculation that Bryan might emerge as the next challenger for Reigns' Universal Championship, and while this could definitely set up a feud between the two, having Daniel lose in this manner and suffer such a beating probably isn't the best strategy.
At any rate, the now heel(?) Uso has now earned a place on the men's Survivor Series team with Kevin Owens.
