Jinder Mahal Returns To RAW With A New Gimmick And A Formidable Duo By His Side

Jinder Mahal made his unexpected return during last week's Main Event tapings, but it seems that was just a rehearsal for last night's RAW where the Modern Day Maharaja returned with a new gimmick and allies...

During last Monday's Main Event tapings, Jinder Mahal returned to WWE with two new allies by his side. Replacing The Bollywood Boys with Veer and Shanky, he squared off with former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy and ultimately managed to pick up the win.

Well, WWE repeated that during last night's episode of RAW, and while Hardy was able to get the upper hand early on, Mahal was able to turn the tide. Jeff made one final attempt to take down the Modern Day Maharajah, but a Twist of Fate was countered with the Khallas to ensure Mahal earned the 1-2-3.

He celebrated alongside Veer and Shanky, leaving us to wonder what Hardy did to deserve being used as a glorified jobber to one of the most unpopular WWE Champions in recent memory.

Aside from last week's Main Event, Mahal hasn't actually been seen on TV since last May. The original plan was for him to return as a babyface, but it's clear now that he's being used as a heel.

Check out some highlights from his return below:
