Next week's episode of WWE NXT will be the go-home show prior to WWE Battleground 2025, and several matches will help determine two title matches that will be on that card.

Previously, Kelani Jordan challenged Zaria to a match with the idea in mind that if she beat her, Jordan would get a shot at Sol Ruca's NXT Women's North American Championship. In that match, Ruca inadvertently distracted Jordan and Zaria speared her through the barricade, eventually winning. Jordan thinks that was messed up and asked for another match against Zaria (who said the same result would happen again if they ran it back). Once more, if Jordan wins, she'll face Ruca, so they're basically repeating what they did last week, for some reason.

Ricky Saints overheard Ashante "Thee" Adonis say he could beat both "Super" Sean Legacy and Je'Von Evans and decided he liked the idea of that as a Triple Threat to determine who could face him at Battleground, so that match is taking place next week as well:

OTM is set to make their return in the ring and will be in action against Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors, as those two had gone up to her backstage and requested a tag team match so they could get Chase U back into the swing of things.

It was also announced that Joe Hendry will be "live in concert" and for the first time ever, Trick Williams will have a rap performance.

While nothing has been announced, it was also teased that Josh Briggs could face Shawn Spears, or do something teaming with Hank Walker and Tank Ledger against The Culling, we'll probably see the LFG winners in some fashion, and have some follow-up to Tatum Paxley's heel turn opposite Thea Hail.

As it stands right now, the current card for next week's NXT stands at the following:

  • Kelani Jordan vs. ZARIA
  • NXT North American Championship No. 1 Contender's Triple Threat Match: Je'Von Evans vs. Ashante "Thee" Adonis vs. "Super" Sean Legacy
  • OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) vs Chase U (Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors)
  • Joe Hendry live in concert
  • Trick Williams rap performance
