This week's very unique episode of SmackDown culminated with John Cena cutting a promo on his WrestleMania opponent Bray Wyatt, and it wasn't long before the man himself (in his Firefly Fun House host guise) made his way to the ring to confront him.
Cena referenced Wyatt's "multiple chances" to make it in WWE, and said he didn't think he was the future of the business, adding that the likes of Tomasso Ciampa, Velveteen Dream and other up-and-comers are more worth investing in. Wyatt countered by telling Cena that he has him all wrong, and "The Fiend" is simply seeking retribution for what John did to him years ago during their first 'Mania match (ie, "buried" him).
Wyatt finished by telling Cena that their bout was going to be a "slaughter," and he just didn't know it yet.
This was a great way to end the show, and instantly added some more hype to their upcoming match. Will Wyatt prevail? Let's hope so, because he really needs a win after the Goldberg debacle.
