At the end of last night's RAW, Randy Orton sent the show off the air by hitting Matt Riddle with an RKO. It appears they'll be teaming up to challenge RAW Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos at SummerSlam, but their partnership is definitely off to something of an unexpected start!
After cameras stopped rolling, John Cena - who wasn't on the show itself - made his presence felt. After a huge pop from fans in attendance, The Suicide Squad star played "Peacemaker" for Orton and Riddle by forcing them to take part in a group hug. You can see footage of that in the Tweets below.
After Orton and Riddle made their way to the back, Cena teamed up with Damien Priest to square off with Jinder Mahal and Veer. We're not sure this was the best use of the former WWE Champion when ratings for RAW are so low at the moment, and there really wouldn't have been much harm in having Cena wrestle on the Monday night show before SummerSlam rolls around.
At the PPV, Cena will face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. Priest, meanwhile, is set to square off with United States Champion Sheamus.
