WWE has announced a new match for the upcoming WWE Super Show-Down event in Australia featuring the return of multi-time champion John Cena.
John Cena will go one on one against his longtime rival Kevin Owens at the event, which takes place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and will be broadcasted live on the WWE Network.
As you may recall, Cena and Owens had a great rivalry back in 2015. Owens made a huge and shocking impact when he defeated John Cena clean in his debut match on the main roster at Elimination Chamber. Cena would be victorous in the end by defeating Owens at MITB for the United States title, but the "Prizefighter" opened many eyes in the WWE universe with his performances in each match.
Currently, the only other match announced for the show is the final encounter between WWE Legends, The Undertaker, and Triple H, which will be their first match since 2012’s WrestleMania Hell In A Cell match.
WWE Champion AJ Styles, Ronda Rousey, Shane McMahon, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Sasha Banks, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, and The IIconics are also currently advertised for the event.
