John Cena Is Finally Set To Return To WWE (But Probably Not In The Way You Were Hoping)

John Cena has mostly moved on from WWE after embarking on a Hollywood career, and he missed this year's WrestleMania due to being busy shooting The Suicide Squad spinoff Peacemaker

His last match was that awesome Firefly Funhouse bout at 2020's Showcase of the Immortals, and there's currently no indication he'll return...at least not in the ring! It's been confirmed today that Peacock - the new home of the WWE Network - has ordered a series called WWE Evil that will be produced and narrated by the Leader of the Cenation.

The show is described as "an entertaining 'psychological exposé' into the minds of the most diabolical antagonists in WWE history, and their impact on mainstream culture."

It's good to see that Cena still has one foot in the WWE door, and he later took to Twitter to comment on the news. As you can see, he's clearly excited to take this trip down memory lane...
