John Cena returned to WWE this Tuesday but his Hollywood aspirations are going nowhere and it probably won't be long until he decides to return to shooting movies. Sounds familiar, right? Well, that's exactly what Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson did way back when and the leader of the Cenation and 16-time WWE Champion has now revealed the best advice he received from his former rival.

"The Rock has been genuine enough to tell me to be myself. I think it was great advice. It came right at a time when I needed it. I tried some movies before, and they weren’t really successful. The reason I was doing those movies was trying to create a business model. Then I looked back at myself and realized I just like telling stories. He gave me some pretty cool advice at unbelievable timing. He said: ‘Hey man, they’re going to like you, or hate you, for you. Be yourself. At least that way at the end of the day you’ll feel good about your body of work.'"

Cena's acting career certainly seems to be taking a step in the right direction as his comedic skills have been praised and critics love Bumblebee despite it being tied to the Transformers franchise.

Will Cena find as much success as The Rock? Right now, it's hard to say but things are looking good for him and it's easy to imagine him finding success outside of the squared circle providing he makes the right choices moving forward. What do you guys think? Share your thoughts on that down below.
