John Morrison Indicates That The Miz Is DEAD After Being Eaten By Zombies; Backstage News On His Absence

During last night's episode of RAW, John Morrison addressed The Miz's status after he was eaten by zombies, and it sounds like he is, in fact, dead. We do, however, have some legit backstage news on his status.

At WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday, The Miz squared off with Damian Priest in a Lumberjack match. However, fans were left baffled when those Lumberjacks were revealed to be zombies (zombies that WWE treated as if they were actually the undead rather than just enhancement talent dressed like them).

Priest won the match, and it appeared as if both The Miz and John Morrison were then eaten alive. Well, during last night's episode of RAW, the latter was revealed to be alive and well. However, he strongly indicated that his friend is, in fact, resting in peace after being devoured. We're not making this up!

"Whenever I think about what happened last night to The Miz, it feels like someone is picking at my brain," Morrison said in a backstage interview. "Like, I'm dead inside. It's a rotting feeling. The Miz might never be the same. I'm dedicating tonight's match to his memory. Miz, I love you bro. I hope wherever you are, it's a [better] place."

The poorly written zombie puns aside, we have no idea what this might be building to (if anything). However, it's been revealed - via Wrestling Observer Live - that The Miz actually suffered an injury at WrestleMania Backlash, so it's possible he'll be kept off television for a while.
