After The Miz reportedly arrived at the WWE Performance Center with COVID-19 symptoms, the Triple Threat Ladder match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania underwent some major changes and became a singles bout with John Morrison representing the champions, Jimmy Uso representing The Usos, and Kofi Kingston representing The New Day.
It was a fun Ladder match with plenty of memorable high spots, and all three men delivered moments fans are bound to talk about for a long time to come.
However, with all three men at the top of the ladder, they all ended up unhooking the titles. When Morrison was pushed from that, he inadvertently took the belts with him, and thereby retained in a bizarre ending to the match which definitely ended in a rather "WTF?" manner. Honestly, it could and should have been better, but the bout was a lot of fun.
