As devastating as this news will be for wrestling fans the world over, it looks like Kairi Sane will indeed be returning to Japan after taping her final Raw appearances this week.

Sane faced SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley last night and picked up a surprise win after countering a Bayley-To-Belly with a roll-up pin. She is also expected to feature on next Monday's episode, but we're hearing that will be The Pirate Princess's final appearance for the company.

Nothing official has been announced, but several reliable insiders are reporting that Kairi has decided to go back to her home country to be with her husband, but is still expected to be an ambassador for WWE - so don't expect to see her show up in any Japanese promotions for the time being.

Sane was never really given a proper push on the manin roster, but had found her groove as part of the Kabuki Warriors alongside Asuka, so this is a real shame.
