Kairi Sane recently moved back to Japan, but the former Women's Tag Team Champion has now revealed what role she will play in WWE moving forward. In a translated version of the Twitter post below, Sane explains that she's now going to help promote the company from her home country.

"This is Kairi Sane from WWE," she says. "I will report on future activities. In addition to continuing to belong as a player, I have been given the role of a new WWE promotion supporter in Japan and will resume activities based in Japan. Thank you for your continued support."

Sane followed that with an English statement, saying: "Greeting from Japan!! WWE Superstar Kairi Sane here. I have moved back to Japan and will still train and support WWE from here."

It remains to be seen how long she'll serve as a possible ambassador or trainer, but many fans will no doubt be hoping she'll be back in the ring before too long. Sane ended things on good terms with WWE, but wasn't used particularly well on the main roster after being pushed as a top star in NXT.
