Kane Comments On His Imminent Return To WWE For The SUPER SHOW-DOWN Event
Kane, a.k.a. Glenn Jacobs, was recently made Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, so many fans had assumed that his career as a WWE Superstar might be over. However, the Big Red Machine is already set to return.
We recently found out that Kane would be in The Undertaker's corner for his match against Triple H at Super Show-Down, and there are rumors that he will then team with his Brother of Destruction for a tag-team match against The Game and Shawn Michaels at Crown Jewel.
So, Glenn Jacobs is clearly dedicating all of his time to being Mayor of Knox County, then!
Joking aside, Kane is actually fulfilling obligations he made to WWE before he won the election, as he revealed while chatting to KnoxNews.com:
“Basically, WWE contacted me, and they wanted to do a really big show, or series of shows, that they wanted to do. Of course, I was like, ‘Hey man, Vince (McMahon), I’m most likely going to be mayor,’ and (Australia) was the arrangement we came up to.”
Once these upcoming shows are over it's highly unlikely we'll see The Big Red Machine in WWE again for quite some time.
As previously reported, Vince McMahon is planning to donate $100,000 to the Knoxville Public Safety Foundation in exchange for Kane’s appearances.
