Karl Anderson has made it clear that he won’t be going back to the WWE.
The former multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion was released from the promotion back in April, alongside his partner Doc Gallows. The news came as a shock since the duo had signed a multi-year deal with the company back in late 2019.
Anderson shortly stated afterwards that he made the wrong decision by re-signing with the company back in September, though he hasn’t discussed any further details on his exit from the company. A new report was released several weeks back claiming that several talents had been contacted to make a return to the WWE, though the pay was significantly lower.
Anderson and Gallows have strongly teased a return to New Japan Pro-Wrestling since their release; however, a fan predicted that the duo would reunite with AJ Styles in the WWE eventually, but Anderson quickly shut down any notion of going back to the promotion:
The former WWE Tag Team Champion have hinted at speaking up about their WWE departures next month, which is when their 90-day compete clause should be up.
