One of the biggest WWE disappointments in recent memory is how former NXT Champion Karrion Kross was treated after being called up to the main roster. A dominating force on the Tuesday night show, his entrance was taken from him, as was the stunning Scarlett Bordeaux.
All Kross was left with were a few fluke wins and a gladiator costume that made him look like the gimp in Pulp Fiction. Who do we have to thank for that? Vince McMahon.
Both Kross and Scarlett were ultimately released, but now that Triple H is in charge, the company is starting to turn a corner. During last night's SmackDown, that was evident when they returned to WWE in epic fashion.
Ahead of their match at Clash at the Castle, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre were about to have a showdown when the lights went out and we heard some familiar music. With that, Kross brutally attacked McIntyre before Scarlett placed an hourglass in front of Reigns as the former NXT Champion screamed, "Tick-tock."
He's coming for that title, and this is a massive development that could shake things up in a big way as we head into the Premium Live Event in Cardiff, Wales next month. Triple H clearly intends to book Kross as a legitimate threat and not as someone who loses to Jeff Hardy in under a minute after arriving on the main roster.
