Karrion Kross' NXT run seemingly reached its end after he dropped the NXT Championship to Samoa Joe during Sunday's NXT TakeOver 36, but he'll soon be wishing he could leave the main roster.
WWE fans have questioned booking decisions made with Kross since he first debuted on RAW, but Vince McMahon has given him a new look that...well, let's just say it's not received the warmest of responses on social media. Fans have ridiculed his weird new mask and suspenders, and it's not drawn a lot of flattering comparisons (everyone from The Executioner to Mad Max's Lord Humungus have been mentioned).
Sadly, this feels like the beginning of the end for Kross and he's gone from being one of NXT's most dominant wrestlers to a cartoon character.
Stranger things have happened and this could get over with fans, but we're not banking on it. This 100% feels like a Vince McMahon idea, and Kross is shaping up to be yet another NXT Superstar who is brought to the main roster, killed, and then quickly forgotten about.
Kross just best hope his contract is up sooner rather than later...
