Kevin Owens' Awesome SMACKDOWN LIVE Promo Reportedly The Beginning Of The End For Shane McMahon

On last night's episode of SmackDown Live, Kevin Owens delivered an incredible promo in which he tore into Shane McMahon and made it clear that both fans and those in the locker room are sick of him hogging the spotlight. It felt like Owens' own version of CM Punk's "Pipe Bomb" and now some more details have been revealed about why it happened.

Apparently, WWE is well aware that there's too much Shane McMahon on television and are indeed paying attention to what fans are saying on social media.

Declining ratings have forced Vince McMahon to listen to the company's critics and Owens' promo was reportedly meant to be the start of a storyline which will see Shane written off WWE programming. So far, the "best in the world" has defeated both The Miz and Roman Reigns, so perhaps KO will be the one who finally takes him down.

That will help make Owens a huge babyface and will hopefully mark the start of a renewed push for the former Universal Champion and the end for Shane.
