Kevin Owens Has Been Taken Off WWE Live Events And Plans For His Return Are Currently Uncertain

Kevin Owens was pulled from WWE Live events overseas out of the blue this weekend and now his future appears uncertain as there's no firm timetable for when he'll make his return to SmackDown Live...

Over the weekend, Kevin Owens left the SmackDown Live tour in South America to fly home with no explanation as to why. All we know is that he did so to be with his family and the Prizefighter later took to social media to confirm it's not because he's ill or injured but due to some sort of family-related emergency (which, in fairness, is none of our business but hopefully nothing remotely serious).

However, a new report has revealed that there's currently no official timetable for when Owens will return. That doesn't mean he's going to be gone forever but it probably won't be this week!

Shane McMahon is scheduled to return to SmackDown Live tomorrow but WWE can easily stall for time by having the Commissioner confront Sami Zayn instead. Survivor Series is still a good few weeks away too so there's plenty of time for things to develop with this storyline even if Owens isn't present for some of it. For now, we're obviously wishing Kevin and his family all the best with things.
