This year's Mixed Match Challenge has been plagued by injuries. Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks were both pulled from the event and now Kevin Owens has also been forced to drop out due to his knee injury (as we told you a little earlier today, the extent of his injury won't be clear until he goes under the knife and the former Universal Champion may then be off for any number of months).

WWE is claiming that Owens suffered an injury to "both of his knees" after being attacked by Country Dominance (yes, that's really their name) team member Bobby Lashley during Monday's RAW.

As a result, a new teammate will need to be determined for his Team Paws partner Natalya as she moves forward in the Mixed Match Challenge. Who that will be remains to be seen but these injuries have definitely put a dampener on the competition. We'll be sure to keep you updated (an announcement will arrive before Tuesday) but for now, be sure to let us know your thoughts below.
