Many fans feel that WWE has hamstrung most of its talent by forcing them to read off scripted promos and micromanaging what they say on air, but it looks like Kevin Owens may have been given a bit more freedom than most to shoot from the hip.

Chris Jericho recently revealed that the promo he cut at AEW's Fight for the Fallen was the first time he'd been allowed to go out and say whatever was on his mind in many years, and it looks like his old pal KO is enjoying the same freedom.

"Like Jericho, Owens is also working without a script", Sports Illustrated revealed. "He is working off bullet points, but it is a move by WWE that shows tremendous faith in Owens."

Owens is currently feuding with Shane McMahon, and has cut some very passionate and believable promos on the "best in the world" in recent weeks. It looks like we now know why that is!

Hopefully Kevin continues to be allowed to wing it a little, and that doesn't stop with him.
