Kevin Owens To Undergo Knee Surgery; Expected To Be Sidelined For At Least A Couple Of Months

Last night, Kevin Owens seemingly became a babyface when Bobby Lashley turned heel but it's going to be a little while before that's touched on again because KO is now scheduled to undergo knee surgery.

Kevin Owens took a lot of bumps during his feud with Braun Strowman and it appears as if those have now caught up with him. During last night's RAW, Bobby Lashley turned heel and Owens turned face but after their match was over, the former brutally attacked the former Universal Champion's knee. 

Well, it turns out that was an injury angle done with the intention of writing Owens off television for a while because it's now confirmed that he's set to undergo minor knee surgery. The belief within the company is that he'll be gone for a couple of months so common sense says that we'll see him make his triumphant return at the Royal Rumble where he'll continue to play a babyface character. 


WWE is playing on the injury for the storyline by saying that "Owens will undergo further evaluation tomorrow to determine the full extent of the damage." With any luck, a more specific update will be with us soon. Owens, who doesn't Tweet that much, sent out the following a little earlier this afternoon:
