Kevin Owens Vs. Sami Zayn Announced For WRESTLEMANIA - But There's No Way That's Going To Happen Now

Tonight on SmackDown LIVE, Shane McMahon made his big WrestleMania announcement, and it was... a little underwhelming. Don't misunderstand, Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn would be a terrific 'Mania match, but we've seen these two face-off far too many times before.

Fortunately, there's almost certainly going to be a twist in this tale.

After Shane's announcement, the "best friends" beat the hell out of the commissioner, before placing a chair around his neck and ramming him into the ring-post Then, Owens finished him off with a vicious power-bomb backstage.

McMahon was left in a very bad way, and although he was set to take an indefinite leave of absence after tonight, one has to believe this will all lead to him being involved in the 'Mania match. Could it be a tag-team bout, perhaps?

Yes, we are all hoping to see Daniel Bryan team with Shane to take on Sami and KO, but - unless they're doing a great job of of keeping it under wraps - Bryan has not been cleared to return to action.

How do you guys think this will all play out? Drop us a comment below.
