Recently, Dave Meltzer (the writer behind the Wrestling Observer Newsletter) revealed that the plan is for John Cena to face Elias at
WrestleMania. As with most things WWE-related, Meltzer wasted no time in tearing into the match, and many wrestling fans have since done the same.
Well, when
SmackDown Superstar King Corbin came across an Instagram post pointing that out, he left a comment describing the journalist as a "cancer" not just for WWE but wrestling as a whole.
"People need to realize that he’s cancer to the entire wrestling industry not just WWE," Corbin says. "He inspired hatred to anything and everything he doesn’t like or agree with. For example I may not like a band and that’s fine. But what separates us is I don’t have to continually bash them online or work to get others to hate them as well."
"I don’t have the time or energy to be that negative of a person," he concluded. Meltzer frequently criticises Corbin, of course, and WWE often comes under fire in both the Newsletter and Wrestling Observer Radio. That frustrates a lot of fans as it seems like he never has a bad word to say about All Elite Wrestling or Japanese-based promotions.
