Kofi Kingston Is Still WWE Champion After Defeating Samoa Joe At EXTREME RULES Last Night

Despite a successful run in NXT, Samoa Joe has struggled somewhat on the main roster and while he's challenged for both the Universal and WWE Championships on a number of occasions, he's never managed to get his hands on either of them.

Well, that losing streak (of sorts) continued at Extreme Rules last night when he squared off with WWE Champion Kofi Kingston.

The New Day member picked up the win with the Trouble of Paradise and the story of the match revolved around Kingston refusing to shake Joe's hand a number of weeks ago as you can see in the video below. It doesn't seem like there's any need for this feud to continue so it remains to be seen who will challenge Kingston at SummerSlam next month.

What did you guys think about the match?
