On this week's episode of SmackDown Live, Kofi Kingston was replaced by Kevin Owens and will no longer face Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at Fastlane. The prevailing theory is that he'll end up being granted a title match at WrestleMania but The New Day member has now issued a statement on the entire situation.
As you can see, he's clearly upset (from a storyline perspective anyway) and this will no doubt help #KofiMania continue to run wild over the coming weeks.
Kingston's rise has definitely been unexpected but WWE has clearly taken notice of how fans are behind him and it would be amazing to see him win the one title that's always eluded him on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Expect plans to start becoming clearer in the coming weeks...
