Kofi Kingston Scored A HUGE Upset Victory Over WWE Champion Bobby Lashley During Last Night's RAW

Last night's episode of RAW kicked off with Bobby Lashley and MVP heading to the ring to celebrate the WWE Champion's big win at WrestleMania Backlash the night before. MVP issued an open challenge for the title, and despite claims that Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre were unable to attend the show due to injury, the latter answered the call.

MVP wasn't willing to accept, and despite taking a swing at Lashley, McIntyre was left in the ring empty-handed. Later that night, we learned that former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston would be the one to answer the call despite squaring off with Randy Orton a little earlier in the night.

Unfortunately, in typical heel fashion, MVP revealed that the open challenge wasn't actually for the title!

The match that followed was a lot of fun, and after some outside interference from McIntyre (who hit Lashley with MVP's cane), Kingston was able to roll up the champion to score the 1-2-3.

Now, The New Day member holds a win over the WWE Champion, and could very well find himself in contention for Lashley's title. However, he may have to compete for that shot with McIntyre!
