Kofi Kingston Stole The Show During ELIMINATION CHAMBER Main Event But Daniel Bryan Retains

On Tuesday night's episode of SmackDown Live, Kofi Kingston delivered an incredible performance in a Gauntlet match which saw him last over an hour. At Elimination Chamber, he very nearly took the WWE title!

Last night's Elimination Chamber PPV was headlined by a WWE Championship match which was held inside the punishing structure as Daniel Bryan put his title on the line.

Things kicked off with AJ Styles eliminating Samoa Joe in short order with a Phenomenal Forearm. Jeff Hardy was pinned by Bryan after performing an incredible Swanton Bomb on Styles, while an RKO Outta Nowhere put AJ down for the count. Randy Orton, however, was then pinned by Kofi Kingston after a Trouble in Paradise.

That meant it came down to Byran and The New Day member and it's fair to say that Kingston stole the show.

Unfortunately, after missing a splash from the top of a pod, he was hit by Bryan's patented running knee and put down for the 1-2-3. It's a shame that Kingston didn't walk away with the title but Bryan still doesn't have an opponent for WrestleMania, so perhaps he'll continue feuding with The New Day?
