Has Kurt Angle's slump come to an end? After being portrayed as something of a washed-up has-been, the Olympic Gold Medallist made a significant impact on last night's RAW when he squared off with Jinder Mahal after the Modern Day Maharajah issued some choice remarks about Ric Flair's birthday celebrations.

Despite being dominated for the vast majority of the bout, Angle made a comeback and picked up the win with his patented Ankle Lock.

After the bell rang, he also took down the Singh Brothers and was left standing tall. There have been rumblings that Angle's retirement match will take place at this year's WrestleMania and this could be WWE's way of making him look strong before that.

As for who his opponent will be, we'll have to wait and see but the likes of Daniel Bryan and John Cena have been named as possibilities.
