Last week, Kurt Angle made a surprise return to RAW and eliminated Baron Corbin from a Battle Royal to qualify for a match in the World Cup tournament at the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV. However, things seemingly backfired on the WWE Hall of Famer yesterday evening when the acting RAW General Manager told him that he would have to compete in a match against the Authors of Pain.

Surprisingly, Angle hit the ring in that gold bodysuit again and was quickly destroyed by the formidable tag team. However, as Corbin celebrated on stage, the Olympic Gold Medalist enacted his plan!

As you can see below, he hit the Angle Slam on the stage and left Corbin in a great deal of pain as a result. This has to be
setting up that rumoured Survivor Series match which will see Angle and Corbin battle for the right to run RAW but a singles match between these two would also be good fun!
