Kurt Angle Reminisces About His WWE Championship Match At The 2003 ROYAL RUMBLE

The former RAW GM posted a picture of his 2003 WWE championship match against Chris Benoit and recalls his performance in the bout. Check out Kurt Angle teasing an appearance in the upcoming Royal Rumble.

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle took a moment on Instagram to reminisce about his WWE championship match against Chris Benoit at the Royal Rumble 2003.

That nearly 20-minute classic saw the “Olympic Gold Medalist” defend his championship against Chris Benoit, which was heavily praised by critics and fans once the bell sounded and Angle’s hand was raised in victory.

Angle doesn’t mention the former World Heavyweight champion by name nor does the photo show off Benoit’s face, but the former RAW GM does go on to praise the match as one of his best performances in his career.
