Kurt Angle Teases The Possibility Of "A Few More Matches" With WWE; Names His Ideal Opponents

On Friday, March 31, 2017, Kurt Angle will finally be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Angle is considered by most to be one of the best wrestlers on the planet, and although he has had a somewhat tumultuous relationship with the company in the past, there's no denying that he did some of his best work there - as both a comedic performer and an intense, ass-kicking machine.

Though it still hasn't been confirmed, fans hope Angle will also lace up his boots again at some point, and during a recent interview with Forbes, the submission specialist teased the possibility:

“I wouldn’t be surprised if I do a few more matches somewhere down the line, but they haven’t talked about it so it’s not official. This Hall of Fame thing is just the beginning, so let’s see how it goes and we’ll go from there.”

We're hearing that Angle still has to pass a physical, but once that's out of the way it seems highly unlikely that WWE wouldn't utilize him for at least one more match. If and when it does happen, though, who would his ideal opponent be?

“I’ve had my best matches with AJ [Styles] and [Samoa] Joe, so it’d be nice to do it on a bigger platform in the WWE so we’ll see what happens.”

Whether we see Angle step back between the ropes again or not, it's going to be quite an experience to witness him being inducted into the HOF next month to the adoring chants of "you suck".

Tell us, who would you most like to see Angle go up against in the WWE?
