Last month, it was revealed that Kurt Angle has a new five-year contract with WWE which will see him work with younger talent behind the scenes. Now, the Olympic Gold Medallist has shed some light on what comes next for him in the company and whether he's actually retired from wrestling.
"I’m going to do some part-time – if they need me in front of the TV, maybe managerial, where I would be managing some wrestlers," Angle confirmed before adding that he doesn't plan on wrestling again because his retirement is legit and he's done with in-ring competition.
That's a shame but it makes sense given how things wrapped up for him (he was clearly struggling during those last few matches).
Seeing Angle play an on-screen character of some sort will be fun, though, and there are a lot of ways WWE could now utilise him.
