Kushida has finally made his way to 205 Live.

After fighting his way through top athletes on the NXT brand, the former New Japan Pro Wrestling star made his shocking debut last night by being the tag team partner of Jack Gallagher. The duo got a win over against Akira Tozawa & The Brian Kendrick, with Kushida submitting Kendrick with the Hoverboard Lock.

Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak will have his hands full on Sunday against Humberto Carrillo and Lince Dorado; however, should Gulak retain then prehaps Kushida is the next challenger for the belt. Kushida and Gulak have crossed paths before as the two athletes have faced each other down in NXT, including a fantastic submission match that the new 205 Live superstar won and a championship match that took place at the big EVOLVE event 234.
