The post-WrestleMania edition of SmackDown delivered its fair share of surprises, though most of them came in the form of some big gimmick and name changes!

The rumours were true about Lacey Evans, though she's ditched her Southern Belle personality and has been given a patriotic makeover more in line with her real-life history. In the promo below, Evans talks about her difficult childhood, her current family, and serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.

She's clearly meant to be a babyface, and it appears the stage is being set for a huge push.

Elsewhere on SmackDown, former NXT Women's Champion Raquel Gonzalez arrived on the main roster as Raquel Rodriguez. She appeared in a backstage segment, blowing off Los Lotharios when they attempted to get a kiss from her. Gunther also made his presence felt, though Marcel Barthel has been renamed Ludwig Kaiser. Clearly, they're doing the typical foreign heel gimmick.
