Evolution was a huge success for WWE and the first-ever all-women's PPV is something many fans are hoping will be repeated. While the show was a lot of fun, it was lacking the big announcement many of us were hoping for and that was, of course, the long overdue Women's Tag Team Championships.
As it turns out, the talent was just as much in the dark as the rest of us as they were all expecting them to be unveiled at the end of the show according to SmackDown Live's Lana in a recent interview.
"I think so many of us girls couldn’t have even imagined having an all-women’s pay-per-view and so to be able to experience this and be a part of it, I’m just very, very thankful."
"One of these days when we’re going to get tag titles. We have to do that. I was hoping really that we were going to announce it at there because when they told us we had to come out at the end and everyone has to come out, I’m like “Oh, they’re going to announce tag titles. It’s happening! It’s going to happen. It’s exciting to be able to work towards those things."
With Bayley and Sasha Banks mentioning them on last night's RAW, you have to imagine that they're somewhere around the corner but when that announcement is actually coming isn't clear.
