After Rusev (now known as Miro in All Elite Wrestling) was granted his WWE release, the company allowed Lana to compete as a singles wrestler on RAW.
After spending weeks being put through tables by Nia Jax, Lana was paired with Naomi, and the duo started gaining some traction as a tag team following WrestleMania. Unfortunately, the one-time Ravishing Russian was among those released by WWE at the start of June as part of "budget cuts."
During a recent Instagram Story Q&A, Lana - real name CJ Perry - vowed to share her side of the story...soon!
"I can’t wait to spill the tea, because it’s hot and delicious," she teased. "I look forward to standing up and speaking out on things that for years I have been silent about. Also excited to talk about Miro and that he is AEW TNT Champion! Please subscribe to my YouTube channel. I will be releasing vlogs starting this Monday."
"It’s a little bit of freedom that I can be the face that I want to be. I can stand up for freedom, I can stand up for truth, I can speak up for things that people exploited and a lot of things."
Clearly, Lana has some complaints she plans to share with the world, and if nothing else, it's going to be very interesting hearing her take on being buried by Jax each week...almost immediately after Rusev decided to make the leap to AEW and took aim at Vince McMahon and his brass ring.
