We learned yesterday that WWE is well-aware of Lars Sullivan's past remarks online and while he's clearly not going to be further reprimanded or fired, he has now broken character to issue an apology as Dylan Miley.

"There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago," it reads. "They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended."

Big E has spoken publicly about Sullivan's comments and made it clear that he'll be viewed as a bigot in a locker room full of minorities. With that in mind, you have to believe he's probably made a number of apologies and it will be interesting seeing if this has any sort of impact on his push.
