Last Night's Episode Of WWE BACKSTAGE Confirmed That Killer Cross Has Officially Signed With WWE

During last night's episode of WWE Backstage, Ryan Satin confirmed that Killer Kross has signed a deal with WWE. Apparently, things came together over the past few weeks after a number of companies expressed interest in signing the hottest free agent on the independent wrestling circuit.

While Kross had previously denied meeting with WWE and even speaking to Triple H, it's no great surprise that he said that as wrestlers are told not to give anything away about signing with them. However, there were a lot of signs that was the case as Kross started to cancel independent bookings (if he'd signed with All Elite Wrestling, for example, he could have still done them).

Kross was a top name in IMPACT Wrestling and it's no secret that he's had at least one tryout in the WWE Performance Center in the past.

This news comes shortly after it was revealed that Timothy Thatcher has also signed with WWE. While AEW is a hot promotion, this just goes to show that there are plenty of stars out there who will still choose WWE as their top destination.
