Bruno Sammartino, who is widely regarded as one of the most influential and well-respected pro-wrestlers of all time, has sadly passed away at the age of 82.
"The Italian Superman" defeated Buddy Rogers in just 48 seconds back in 1963 to become the second-ever WWE Champion, and went on to hold that title for for nearly eight years - the longest reign of all time, and one that will surely never be beaten.
Bruno was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 by Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was the 188th and final time that Sammartino headlined and sold out Madison Square Garden.
Our deepest condolences to "The Living Legend's" friend and family.
