Lio Rush made quite the impact on
205 Live and on
RAW as Bobby Lashley's manager. However, we then heard that Rush was throwing his weight around backstage, bringing his girlfriend to the building, upsetting the boys in the locker room, and generally being obnoxious.
Since then, he's pretty much vanished from TV and while he's denied that there's any backstage heat on him, it says a lot that WWE has sent him home for the past few months.
Now, though, Rush has shared his thoughts on his WWE future.
"I miss the fans, I miss doing what I love and like the saying goes never say never and I'm only 24 years old and of course I still want to wrestle and be a part of my dream company. I'm pretty sure it won't be the last time you see me in a ring. But it is pretty cool that I get to have this opportunity to spend some time with my family because I haven't been able to that much or as much as I'd like to since signing with WWE."
He went on to say that he's also enjoying taking this time to
"work on projects that I've always wanted to work on like this single that I just put out."
Needless to say, things don't look great for Rush in WWE and it doesn't exactly sound like he's desperate to return to the squared circle. If anything, it sounds like he's more like Enzo Amore than anything in the sense that he's more passionate about fame and other projects than he is being a wrestler. We'll see.
