It was explained on Sunday that Rusev and Bobby Lashley didn't compete in this year's Royal Rumble match because of a fight in the parking lot earlier in the day. Well, both men were banned from ringside for Lana's match against Liv Morgan last night as the two women clashed on RAW after eliminating each other from the women's Rumble the night before.
There was a lot of trash talking in the match, but Morgan ultimately picked up the 1-2-3 with a springboard Flatliner.
Now, it's impossible to say where things go for this storyline next. WWE appears to have dialled back the lesbian side of things after the backlash which followed that big reveal and the company's outdated attempt at representation. Does Rusev win his wife back? Is this the end of things? Honestly, it's hard to say right now so it looks like we'll have to wait and see.
