Luke Harper and Erick Rowan have been working together in WWE for a long time now. They started off in NXT, came up to the main roster as part of The Wyatt Family, feuded for a while, and then reunited to become The Bludgeon Brothers. While they're currently SmackDown Live's Tag Team Champions, it turns out that the two monsters didn't always get on that well behind the scenes.
"When we first started, me and Rowan hated each other," Harper admitted during a recent chat with Edge and Christian. "I don’t know what it was. We just didn’t get along. We were forced to room together. He’s taller than me. If you look at some of my old pictures, I clearly tried to put weight on and it didn’t work well." So, what exactly went wrong between these two?
"He’s a f*cking giant and he snores," Harper continued. "So, I didn’t sleep a lot. We just didn’t get along. Slowly came the realization of, ‘Hey man, we are stuck together. Are we gonna fight against it or are we just gonna do it?’ It took me a long time to realize that; but, when I did, we made it work way better." So, things clearly got off to a rocky start all those years ago.
However, they were thankfully able to get past their differences and work together effectively enough to become champions. Do you think these two are better off together or as solo competitors?
