At WrestleMania Backlash this past Sunday, Charlotte Flair lost the SmackDown Women's Championship to Ronda Rousey in a brutal "I Quit" match. The Baddest Woman on the Planet defeated the Queen by trapping her arm in a chair and locking in her armlock to make Flair quit the match.
Now, WWE is reporting that the former champion has a broken arm, meaning she will be off TV for an indefinite period of time. While it's unclear how long Flair will be gone, we're not expecting to see her for several months...but not because she's injured (that's just a storyline reason for her absence).
Instead, Flair is taking some time off to get married to former WWE Superstar and current AEW star Andrade El Idolo. She wanted a break so that they can enjoy their wedding and subsequent honeymoon, so we're not expecting to see Andrade in AEW after his recent loss to Darby Allin either.
We'll keep you updated as we learn more. Hopefully, The Queen is back in time for SummerSlam!
