Despite what we've seen on WWE television, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose are, in fact, best friends in real life. Last summer, WWE was actually in the middle of a storyline pitting Fire & Desire against each other, but that had to be scrapped when a man broke into Deville's home and attempted to kidnap her (Rose was there at the time).

Daddy Deville took some time off, and the angle was scrapped because it simply didn't make sense to continue, especially when it had been widely publicised that they were hanging out together outside of work!

As for the clearly deranged individual who had hoped to kidnap Deville, it's been revealed that her stalker has been found incompetent to stand trial. As a result, he's now awaiting transfer to Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, and is likely to remain there for a long time to come.

Last week, Deville had her temporary protection injunction against him extended.

For those of you who don't remember the case, the man had spent several months planning to kidnap Deville, and when he entered her house, she and Rose were able to escape. He was carrying a knife, plastic zip ties, duct tape, mace, and other items, and was arrested and charged with Aggravated Stalking, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Attempted Armed Kidnapping, and Criminal Mischief.

Needless to say, he needs help, and hopefully won't be in a position to ever approach Deville again. Since returning to WWE in January, she's served as an authority figure alongside Adam Pearce.
