Last week, WWE Hall of famer Bret Hart appeared on the “In This Corner” podcast and discussed wanting his brother Owen Hart in the WWE HOF. During the same podcast, Hart had some negative words for Martha, who will not allow her late husband to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Most notably, he called his brother’s widow “obtuse” and “square-headed.”

However, Martha has responded to Hart’s harsh words, calling his most recent comments “reckless, irresponsible and clearly untrue,” as well as “disrespectful and cruel.”

“You know, Bret has been making similar comments over the years, but just recently I’ve noticed his comments have become ruder and he’s more brazen,” she said.

Martha also explained why she will not allow a WWE Hall of Fame induction for Owen Hart:

“I am firm in my belief that the WWE was responsible for Owen’s death. As a result, I cannot and will not support any efforts by the WWE to profit from Owen’s memory. I want nothing to do with the WWE in any regard, in relation to Owen or on any other front.”
